some of the new emulators out there are only coming out with the .xbe file and when i run it all i get is a blank screen. what am i doing wrong?

and that didnt work btw. i have nester .20 and then i just changed replaced the .xbe from the one in nester .22 and it didnt work. how far do you have to go back?

Yes you can get a new yahoo email addy but if the mods here have any clue as to how to use VBB they can also ban your IP address and then you will have to use a proxy to get here and good luck finding a fast one. It will be a 56k or worse nightmare.

i dont think they ban ips here. legal issues if i remember correctly.

if loading from evox it hangs on loading
if loading from boxplorere it hangs on black screen

have you got the media folder present in the download??? If not then it won't work!! ( I think?)

no the media folder isnt in the download. but i have just recently created it myself.

i have the game files under
/media/other/nintendo entertainment system/roms/

the .fft files under
/media/fonts/

the .bmp files under
/media/textures/

but i also have these files that i dont know where they go:
bank 00.wmp
font.xpt
(i know i didnt type the file extensions right there, but im going off of memory)

NOW when i start it up, it loads to the main screen of the emulator but doesnt let me move down up or anything, so im assuming its frozzen. any ideas about where all the files should go?

Then they can ban the whole string or start from your first 2 sets of numbers as they are almost always the same even if you have a changing IP..

Any way to get on topic a bit , i have the mega cd emu for the xbox and the emu works but i cant launch the games for some reason...i have it zipped in the roms folder , and i hit the A button and it makes the noise like its gonna load the game but nothing happens..i am using the matrix chip with the executer bios. I am also using a dvd for the emu. Any ideas? The game is Heart of the Alien , a sega cd game..might i need to patch the xbe file or is that unneccessary since the emu does boot , just cant launch the game..very frustrating..any websites that talk in detail about the megacd emu?

If your using gensx you will need the mega cd bios in the bios folder.
