Hey guys, im fairly new to the xbox backup scene, I was mostly into the psx and dc back in the day but im now onto this xbox.

Got my xecuter2lite and 80 gig hdd in there and hae a question about patching.

For DOAXV, ive tranfserred the files from the pre-patched iso onto my box. Since then Ive deleted the iso and the rar files as Ive changed hdd's in my pc. Now the app kept freezing exactly as the guy describes at the end of this nfo file:


"Run the Patch.default.ppf to the default.xbe file
(patch includes Nude Hack Mod (allows new textures to be inserted) / Money Hack / Everything $1 hack

Then Run the Patch.datadvd.ppf to the datadvd.afs file.
This will insert the nude textures for all ur characters...
This is the file as outlined on xbox-saves.com
(DOAXBV - PPF textures patch DOZI/MIRAGE/VERSAPACK
» 100% nude textures complete with *******s, NO TANLINES!)

Please note that if U do not run the first patch on the default.xbe file that the nude texture patch will freeze up the game either right @ the begining or right after you select a character.

Hopefully this clears up everyones issue's much like I had with the screen freezing.

so, heres the thing, I have ppf o matic 3 but I need to know do I need to remake the iso file from the hdd files using x-iso, or can I just upload the xbe file and afs file mentioned above to my pc and patch them individually, ahd if thats possible how would I do that?

I would think you can patch the xbe's directly without having them in ISO format. You need to connect your xbox upto your PC (crossover cable) & FTP to the xbox, upload file, patch and download it again.

There are tutorials on setting up FTP & linking xbox on xbox-scene.com.

yeah I got the ftp set up to my xbox no problem, the issue is with the patching. ppf o matic asks for a iso file, im just wondering if I can select a xbe or afs file and patch it directly
