Dj its really that good? Is the quality as good as IC, cause In my opinion IC's quality was better than dvd2one. Cant wait to get home today and try this DVDShrink and give it a test run. I'll post my results and see what this bad boy is all about. I'm glad the creator of it is on vacation. Looks like the guy has been working on this pogram. Released the original and ONLY a few days later released an update to it. The guy is really good. Wish he would take donations for his hardwork, but I hear his whole deal about taking money and then end up being in trouble with the law. I would pay to even use this software. I paid for 2 other ones and I have been happy with them. But this dvdshrink sure looks like it has alot of cool features to it. Hope everyone gives it a try.

have been doing c.s.i, angel season 1 and 2 , and to me seems to just as good as i c . give it a go m8 i dont think you will be disapointed if you are then you havent lost out as its free.
best thing about it been putting 8 gig discs on to dvdr, ripping and encodeing straight from disc in about 35 mins then burning in about 15 at 4 x .
this is what its all about.

I tried putting all the resulting files into a VIDEO_TS folder and also making a AUDIO_TS folder, tried burning them in RecordNow Max, and keep coming up with an error. I don't have the error wrote down though.

How are you all burning these files???????

I have a newer Nero available if that helps.

IN RECORD MAX YOU SHOULD BE USEING DVD DATA AND IN NERO IT SHOULD BE DVD ISO
I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBS BURNING THEM NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE ERROR MESSAGE IS

Got it.
Its freakin brill!
Tried Futurama and it works a treat.
I like the way you can avoid using seperate decrypting software, and how easy it is to select features such as region free.
The end quality is great too, easy as good as DVD2one if not better.
Faster processing than DVD2one as well!
Great program,
Fluke

in customize settings you can also downsample the vts files plus audio , say take out languages you dont need. just keep an eye on final dvd size on the bottom

well did 3 dvds tonight as its that fast lol
the qulity is better than instantcopy but im not sur if its better than dvd2one but you do keep the menu ect
you can make the the dvd-r smaller by cutting out audio e.g 2 channel
and just keep english and get rid of the rest but buy doing this it does not improve the qulity it just mkes the dvd-r smaller *i might be wrong*
but for free cant complain the only complaint i got im not sure which one to use lol

what do you think dudes on the best pic quality on these programmes
me im not sure lol they all good ##

I tried recoding a Crime Scene Investigation disc (nearly 8 gigs) with 1.03 - recode and burn went ok but when I tried it in my standalone it kept resetting itself.

Did Vanilla Sky with 1.02 with great results.

I must admit that I have not REALLY put it to the test yet as the discs I have tried have been about 6gigs to start off with - but the results on them (keeping everything from the original) are spot on.

Try burning with Nero. Just make sure you choose ISO level 1 and ISO 9660...and nothing else. This is the method I use and I 'm very pleased with the results. Good luck.
