codeman Apr 10, 2003, 06:00 PM Hi all, was trying to use dvd shrink instead of dvd2one but when I encode it is still exceeding the target. Anybody tell me were i`m going wrong. Thanx. nednedned Apr 10, 2003, 07:52 PM did you try target dvd size,custom option,and put your own size in there,,or the encode level option,,, aaronjon Apr 10, 2003, 08:38 PM i tried shrink 1.02 with T2 which is 7.58gig on disc and with 4 compression was still too large, about 5.22 and without cropping any sound out (after all its a great disc for sound) i found the only way to get it down futher was to put it through again on level 4 compression. i have since tried with 1.03 level 8 compression and even this dosnt get it down to size first time. so you have 3 options crop or rencode more, lose some sound or more picture quality or re author:- full guide- http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/ hth codeman Apr 11, 2003, 03:02 PM many thanx lads. padehu Apr 11, 2003, 03:18 PM is there anyway to set a custom percentage setting similar to InstantCopy ? earlier i tried 'brotherhood of the wolf' and the levels jumped from @ 5.22 gb to 3.46 gb - quite a big jump d |
