Hi,

I'm about to invest in one of these.

1) Does any1 know if it automatically skips bad sectors while a faulty/scrached disc is being played ? My current player Scan Sc2000 does that (i.e. it doesn't just say disc error & ejects disc, it jumps ~10/15 secs if certain place in disc isn't readable)

2) Also read something about permanent menu display on the LHS of screen or something while dvd is being played. Could any1 plz tell me what's that all about.

Thx in advance.
