download the version 7 trial again, ignore the dvd shrink comments, its not better its almost identical, the reason some programs take longer to re encode is because theyre using better methods to re encode the film, its like when you rip a dvd you to vcd you can pick fast settings or slow, fast taking no time at all, or slow taking much more, even if theres a 1% improvement in IC7 its worth the extra time!!!!

Tidus I have to agree with Dj there. DVD shrink is better than IC. Has alot more features and I find it even easier to use in my opinion. DOnt get me wrong I have nothing against IC I've been using it since it came out and I swear by it. But now with dvdshrink's new updates I think its ahead of the others. So to each its own, but I think the original poster should give dvdshrink a go at it and see if it helps his problems.
