hey

just wondering if anyone can help me out. ive got several vcds that i want to put onto one dvd-r but i want to have a menu screen where i can choose which one to watch.

using nero - how do i go about this? can i just use the files in the mpegav folder? or do i need the other folders that are on each vcd?

i managed to have a cd-r with a menu to choose files but that was just using avi files from a camcorder. so im a bit unsure of what to do with the vcd files

can anyone give me some advice?

thanks =0)

You need to author it as a DVD. Try doing a search for VCD. All posts in the DVD forum containing VCD should be about converting VCD to DVD (I have hopefully moved all others to the VCD forum).

That is what is going to happen when you make a DVD compliant DVD. This should stay here as this is the only place it is relevant.

To answer your question: go to dvdhelp.com and look in their authoring tutorials. Hope I helped at least a little more than others did.

Who ever said that this post wasn't staying here?? If I was going to move it (which I wasn't) then it would have been moved.
