View Full Version : does applying a multi region hack compansate for the fps speed aswell

ok ive got a back up of a ntsc dvd although it is multi region
the playback isnt, right my player is pal not multi region.
so if i put the hack in for multi region does it compansate for the rate
the movie plays.i put movie through dvd2avi and it shows up at 2900 fps.
or will i have to re'encode it to pal 2500. if so what would be best prog
to use.

I'd be extremely surprised if somewhere in your DVD's menu's if it didnt have a display output option though. Almost every DVD player these days have 1. Will usually cycle through 3 options NTSC/PAL/Multi with multi (might be called auto or similar)it will auto switch between the 2 depending on the DVD inserted.
