Can someone tell me how I link two xboxes to play Multiplayer games, is it just a cable and if so could you tell me which one I need to get, or do I need to add any hardware, is there any infa red link availible yet ?.

I recommend getting the lang party kit from EB its like 50 dollars and its got everything u need

Or if you'd rather save wasting money, all you need are CAT5 ethernet cables and a hub. If you are only connecting two XBox's, you only need a single crossover ethernet cable.

But if you have no clue about networking or can't be bothered finding them, then the kit will do.

Yes it is only to connect two xboxs so I will get the Ethernet cable...

Just make sure you get a Crossover cable and you can't go wrong. Beats payin for the whole kit!

so what app do you use when both are connected with a crossover cable??

You don't use any application. Most games have a system link option for multiplayer.

Could you tell me where I can buy the SINGLE ETHERNET CROSSOVER CABLE online ?, preferble about 10 meteres or more, I looked but couldnt find one :o

Thanks I found the cable now :) , there is no radio shack (Tandys) in the UK now BUT I typed in the CAT5 (which is the word I must of been missing)in Dabs search and they have plenty there...............................
