After burning over 600 Cd's my old piece of ....Matshita CW-7586 quit on me.
Burning data disc with Nero, I was getting these errors:

Power calibration error
Command sequence error
Could not perform End Track
invalid write state
Illegal medium
Could not perform Fixation

Any sugestions or solutions/Thank you

Youve already given the solution M8 Matshita CW-7586 quit on me. your going to have to buy a new one

you could try the BST forum if your a bit short on readies

A lot of the above list would also point to poor media though.

I was only interested in explanation of those 6 lines of errors.

Ok no worries, they could all point to a faulty writer, if its quit then I would suggest these were the errors being given while it was on its way out.

If you wanted the specifics of the messages use google and search the terms or vist the help section on the Ahead web site, its very informative and generalised to problems and not just software specific
