read on other boards that they are good.............for video and data at 4x speed. BUT it's early days, bulkpaq seem to have no standards, so I'll wait a while to see if they return to they're shitty standards.

Bulqpaqs are reported to be getting better but, I won't touch them becuase they don't compare to Ritek for compatibility (Riteks are what I use) and the stories I have heard of bulqpaqs flaking and falling apart after less than a year of use makes uneasy. It's worth it to spend the extra money and play it safe in my opinion.

Ive tried them and they work in my A04 @ 2x, but the way i got to use them was a mate purchased a 25 tub and when he tried burning them in his A05 @4x he created coasters @2x he created coasters but @1x they worked ok.

He's now gone back to using either masters or trax, I personally would stick with ritek based disks for overall compatability.

used both ritek 4 times and the new buupaq orange 4 times and to my amazement the bullpaqs boot up quicker in my ps2 by upto 3 secs. i will definately buy some more but also still buy the old faithful riteks aswell

bought a pack of bulkpaq orange tops at wk end, burned quite a few films now at x4 and they all worked fine, not sure wot they'd be like for games though.

Sony DRU 500U latest firmware 2.0e

from the research i have since done on this disc seems some people are getting no probs, but the quality of the batches seems to vary a great deal
I contacted SVP and as usual there customer service is second to none, they replyed within a hour and send out 50 Ritek to replace them ,and a freepost addy to return the rest of these orange disasters.i for one will not touch these discs ever again:tdown:
