I've had my ADL528 for under a year and its started skipping when playing audio CDs and playback of DVDs is sometimes corrupted. When I forsat got it I remember some people saying they had returned it directly to cyberhome and had an exchange? If thats the case has anyone got any contact details for cyberhome (i chucked the box)

Got to be sent to Germany, which is their European HQ. They do not have a UK addy....go to the URL below and click on the UK Flag and then on Contact us/Support and take it from there.

Please repost this in the Consumers forum, this is for computer related help only, as a senior member, you really should know this by now.

Quite often upgrading to the latest firmware sorts most problems with this player, you will find the firmware and instructions on how to burn the disc and apply, using Nero, at the Cyber Home website. ;)

OH PS I did the firmware update as soon as I got the player (cos of the DVD playback problems v9 of the firmware had) I think this is something to do with the lazer

maybe your disks are dirty or your lens is dirty. If you used dirty disks, your lens is probably dirty now too.
