not happy with my recently bought Dvdr rewriter Teac , so I am returning it so i can get another. What is the best dvdr rewriter to purchase, easiest to use, as well as the best one that software programmes, discs will recognise.
cheers

Why don't you just flash it with Pioneer firmware? Assuming of course that it is a DV-W50E.
Anyway, I'm moving this to CoOp.

I agree try doing that first as it will make it a full fledged Pioneer. The actual Pioneer DVD burner would be my recommendation if you can't get the firmware flash to work. It won't have all of the restrictions that are currently hindering the TEAC.

I recommend the Cendyne 4x DVD-RW drive. It's a Pioneer A05 clone (Windows XP even detects it as that) but it's a lot cheaper.

You a Cendyne owner too? Yeah, they are a great drive and when you get them for less than $200 they are even better. Unfortuantely our European counterparts don't have the Cendyne option.
