I recently just built my system, and now I'm having problems.
I can read any original cd (game, music, etc) But I'm having a serious problem reading any burnt cd. Not so much my music cd's, but with programs.
For instance, I got a copy of Office XP to backup the one I have, and I can't read the cd in my drive. I've tried in both drives, and it freezes when I try to read it. I've tried to restart and no luck.
My cd-rom drive is just a regular 52x max drive, no brand name.
And my CD-RW is a Samsung 32-10-40 drive.
Is there maybe a problem with the drives conflicting with each other? Any help please?
Also, if it would be more helpful, you could contact me over MSN messenger.
Also, a friend of mine tried out the cd on his system and it worked fine, so it's not the cd's.... OfficeXP was on a Verbatim (I always have luck with these)
