View Full Version : Creating ifo files for "non-strand" dvd (more than 7 vobs)?

Here's my dilemma - I have several non-strand vobs from the same dvd but unfortunatley without ifo files. I plan on re-sizing the vobs (approx. 8GB - down to 4.33Gb) in Instant Copy after creating ifo files in Ifo edit .

Vob layout as follows:

VSTS_01_1
VSTS_01_2
VSTS_01_3
VSTS_01_4
VSTS_01_5
VSTS_01_6
VSTS_01_7

VSTS_02_1
VSTS_03_1
VSTS_04_1
VSTS_05_1
VSTS_06_1

The problem is I cannot make all the vobs single strand because the first 6 vobs are at their maximum capacity (0.99GB each), so re-numbering or joining the remaining vobs in Vob-edit, is out of the question.
I'm I right in saying that you can't have more than 7 single strand vobs? If so, what would be the solution? Can Ifo-edit create ifo files for the vobs as they stand?
I've read the newbie guide but it doesn't cover this particular area (where ifo's are required for vobs greater than 7).
