backup on the fat32 file format

i am not 100% but was always led to believe that fat 32 wont handle files over 4 gig.
try it out and youwill find out antway m8

True FAT32 can't handle files 4gigs or larger. However the largest file on a DVD is 0.99Gigs. If however you read it to an ISO file you would need a program that is capable of spliting it.
