I know there is a problem trying to back-up this game because it DVD9, but if you look at the files they have like 9 files that say @@@disk1.dat, and then @@@disk2.dat, then the default.xbe file. If Halo can be split into like 4 cd's, why cant this game be split into 2 DVD's? Would it be possible to use the disk1.dat files on the first dvd and the disk2.dat files on second dvd? There's got to be way around this.

i think .... not sure , if u remove the VR missions it will fit , but it wouldnt be mgs:substance then

as far as i have read there is no way , unless u use the XDK to recompile relink etc....... but XDK's are very rare and a bit naught to have installed on your pc ....... which is a shame as the XDK i here has some very nice tools in it

Yeah, I had that thought, but I have the original hd in there. so cant do that.
