ive a ps2 & when i got some backup movies & some games i put labels on them & before the movie had finished it started to stutter & sometimes lock up this i later found was due to overheating this never happened with disks i didnt put labels on .
my question is does the xbox suffer the same problem or can i put labels on my disks without it causing it to overheat.

I have labels on all my disks, and dont have that problem. I heard of that problem you mentioned. Just make sure the labels are centered correctly, because otherwise it does throws off the balance.

I don't think the problem is due to overheating, I think the label adds extra weight, so when the drive spins the disc, movies stutter, audio stutters, etc.

I'm not sure if the Xbox suffers the same problem.
