I just got a DVD-R with an XBox SNES emulator and 3000+ roms. However, when I try to play it, it just sits there and reads the disc. I can't figure out what's wrong with it. EvolutionX says that it's a game, but when I try to start it it doesn't work. Anyone know a possible reason for this? Would copying it to the harddrive for some reason make a difference? Also, MLB Slugfest acts like it's gonna work, but when I try to start playing it just waits at the loading screen. In the main menu, it has no sound which I thought was kind of akward. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Slugfest needs to be patched, dont know on the other issue, sorry

Does Slugfest let you go into the menu and everything, but just doesn't let you play if it's not patched? I didn't copy it myself, so I don't know if it has the patch or not.

I dont know for sure, since I dont have it, but there is a list somewhere in this forum of games that need to be patched. There is an easy to patcher called xbepatcher. Go to xbox-scence.com and go to tools, you will find a shitload of them. I guess it doesnt help much if its already on disk uh.

Try cleaning the disk and the xbox laser also, see if that helps
