I used to have a KT7-Raid and it had a Athlon 1200 chip in it. That was from new e.t.c.

Not a bad board at all except that I had problems with the sound when running a RAID array or just using IDE 3 or 4 on the board. The sound used to crackle e.t.c, something to do with the Via chipset.... Theres plenty of info on this happening all over the web.

If you have a KT7, you can run all AMD CPUs with 200 MHz FSB. KT7A, on the other hand, supports 266 MHz FSB.
The 1300 MHz Duron should be fine.
I ran a XP 1600 in mine for several months, this too works fine, but I could only run it at 109 MHz FSB, giving me 1140 MHz instead of the 1400 it is supposed to run on.
Check out this site instead, from Abit HQ in Taiwan: http://www.abit.com.tw/abitweb/webjsp/english/mb_spec.jsp?pPRODUCT_TYPE=MotherBoard&pMODEL_NAME=KT7
