If i bought a copy of Final Fantasy X USA, would i be able to use my PAL save game? I completed it, but i just want to know how itll look without being all squashed up and in slow mo.

And will there be problems with a backup copy, cos i heard there was some trouble about it not being able to go past a certain point in the game ors eomthing.

For the PAL question, I would say no because PAL games uses a different boot file than NTSC.

FFX have no problems with backups, I've beaten the game, and it was a backup.

Don't bother with the USA version of FFX, it's actually less of a game than the PAL version (which is based on the Japanese FFX International Edition i.e a 'director's cut'). Best to get yourself a copy of FFX International , it's dubbed into English & you can change all the menu's ,etc into English, it's the best version of FFX available.

How's it 'less of a game?'

I found FFX to be a great game, especally cause im in the US, and not Europe.

The USA ver is 'less of a game' because the PAL/JPN International Ver have extra stuff & gameplay tweaks. It's still good, but if you have a choice, you'd obviously want the best version going :) i.e why buy a plain old version of a film when a 2-disc director's cut is available.
The 'Less of a game' comment was in reply to the original question by qwertman who i believe owns the PAL version already.

OK, now I get ya!

think I got the international version, as I was sold it before the US release date. Wicked game non-the-less. Enjoy it
