Hey, I've sorta got a problem here. I bought myself a regular 80mm case fan today..course I didnt think about the sort of connection i ought to have gotten at the time (I know, stupid....) anyway, now I've got a 3-pin fan, but no connection for it. theres only one on my mobo, and thats being used by the cpu cooler.
so I had two ideas, and just wanted to know if they were possible.
1) get like, a "splitter" so that i can connect two fans to the one connection, or
2)get an adapter to change the a 4-pin connection (which isn't being used at the moment) into a 3-pin connection.
are any of these two possible?
(I was also thinking about maybe just like soldering some wires together, so that i get both the case fan and cpu fan connected to one single plug, but I dont wanna go messin' around with it like that if theres a simpler way.)
