Im wondering if any AGP Video card will work in my Computer, if it Has an AGP Slot?
Ive seen video cards with AGP4X, AGP8X Etc.....I Dont really know alot about what that means to do with Compatibility or anything.

this is what i have:

Athlon XP 1700
SiS 730S motherboard
384MB SDRAM
Onboard Video
Onboard Sound

i think thats all i need to mention?

I was thinking of getting an ATI Raedon 9000 or something like that, but didnt know if it would work in my computer or not...

Thanx for any help.

First of all "SiS 730S" is a chipset not a mobo. And it is AGP 4X, however if you get a AGP 8X Card it will be backwards compatable, meaning it will operate at the AGP 4x Standard.
