I finally finished modding my V2 PS2 with the magic 3.1 chip. It will boot my ps one backups, but it will not boot my PS2 backups or my PS2 imports. It also will not boot ANY DVD movies. It will just take me ot the "Please insert PS2 or PSone game" red creen.

The only thing it seems to boot is original PS2 games.

How do I fix this?

i had this problem with ps2 backups not playing it turned out it was the dvdrs the games were being burned onto some lasers in some machines are quite picky
