Hey, if anyone can help me out with this mystery that'd be great

I have a xbox chipped with an xtender chip and have the EvoX menu thing installed, I hadnt tried using my xbox as a dvd player for a while but when my current one went out of commision I thought i'd watch a film on the box.

I put the dvd in (I have the remote etc) and it brings up the green logo to show its loading, but it just goes back to the menu and repeats the loading over and over, so I tried going back to the MS menu just incase and it does the same thing.

The only thing I can do is use the dongeless program that lets you use your controller but this is a real pain and seeing as I shelled out £20 to use the remote i'd like to be able to use it!.

Anyone have any ideas what could be up? if you need anymore info ill fill the details in

Cheers

In your ini file make sure the dvd player points to the old dashboard.

evox.ini is located in your c:/ drive. Just copy it over with an ftp program and change it as you see fit. Then re ftp it back to the xbox to update.
