i got a problem ?

when i download any program with installsheild setups, when i clcik on them to install it wont open them and my pc does nothink ???



any ideas ?

This could work as i had a game ( commandos2 ) that would not install after i had a failed install .
Empty your windows temp folder then delete the engine folder >

program files\common files\installshield\engine

its strange ?? if i click on the exe file it it will do nothink ?

There could be several problems while using Installshield under XP:

The version of InstallShield used is not compatible with XP.
The software package is trying to verify the OS and doesn't recognize XP.
The application is not compatible with XP.

Drag a shortcut to your desktop for the installation program. Right click on the shortcut and change the compatibility mode under Properties.
