Ok. I CANNOT play any of my AVI movies. I have tried all different brands of CDR. NOTHING! I was going to try CDRW - BUT no movies fit on them since they are only 600 or 650mb. ANYONE have any ideas on how I can play my AVI files on the XBOX ??? thanks! Anyway to play these CDRs?

only the samsung drive will play cdrs, i have a thomson drive that wont read cdrs so im planning on hooking up a pc drive once i get my matrix chip installed (waiting for a replacement programmer) or theres cdrw's out that are 700mb (i have a couple sitting on my desk right now) or you can ftp them to the hd

in my situation, i figured it would be less of a pain to hook up a pc drive (at least temporarily) than re-burn all the cdr games/mp3s/movies that i have onto cdrws (like 60discs worth of stuff that i want to put on my xbox)

yeh just burn your movies n stuff to 700 mb cdrws they should be quite cheap and easy to get hold of
