I have a X2P installed in my Xbox. The very first time I
power the system up after installation it shows a screen
that says Linux 1.8. So I figured I did something wrong
because the xbox should boot normal, right? So I check my
wires every thing is ok. Start the xbox again and it boots
normal. Now when I flash the X2p, the progress bar fills to 100% then
I get a verification failed error. I really need some advice on what
the problem could be.

Are you using a 1Mbit image to flash your chip?
