Here's a question I have been meaning to ask for some time. When recording to CDG from MP3+G using MP3+G Toolz, Daemon Manager + Clone CD, what is the best recording speed to use. I have been using 4X with good results - is it acceptable to use anything any quicker than this or will the results not be so good.
I would be interested to know what you guys use.
Thanks for looking in
All the best

It is always best to copy karaoke at the slowest speeds possible for the best results.

i think it also depends on the quality of yer writer. i have burnt (just to try it) at 24x and not had a problem. i use a 24x plextor and usually burn at 2-4x if they are for someone other than myself.

I have a 16 plex and a 12 tdk and both go to their top speed with no probs.
Very, very rarely I get a blow out during recording with CDRwin, so I just have to go again at a lower speed. Even then I think it is a problem with a disk rather than the burn speed.
