Hi,
I just realised that my Norton 2002 software suscription expired so I am thinking of getting something new. What do you recomend - McAfee? Sophos? What's good?
Thanks

Never scrimp where antivirus is concerned as losing all your data is never worth saving a few quid here and there. I always use the latest version of norton as it has never let me down yet (touch wood).

If you have been using Norton, why don't you want to continue. I use Norton 2003 and have found it the best for me after many dismal tries with others. Proland almost worked, but missed one and casued me all sorts of problems. So I boutgh Norton and never looked back

AVG is good and it's free. A few people recommended this to me so i uninstalled Norton and tried it. As soon as i installed it, it picked 4 virus's up on my pc that Norton hadn't found.

I think the next AVG is going to be the last free version, i've read this on a couple of other boards, not allowed to post links but zeropaid and unitethecows had stuff on it.
Anyway, always used Mcafee and only ever got infected once and that was because my brother :furious:God bless him:furious: disabled Mcafee and then forgot to re-enable and downloaded crap from Kazaa.
