hi all, im just wondering what printer would you recommend for printing good quality covers. ive just received some dvds in a case and the cover quality is excellent!
my present printer is a epson c40 ux and i use jettec cartridges. any help much appreciated

Try the consumer forum (CoOp).

From my experience, it's as much the paper you use as anything else. You'd be amazed what difference it makes if you use something like Kodak Picture Paper. Your printer should be fine given the right paper.

Green Blade is right here. Just plain paper and Photo paper will make a huge difference.
This paper will cost you some more, but it defenately is cheaper than a new printer, that will most likely not perform that much better on plain paper as your Epson.

First thing to look at is yr resolution, most photo qual printers will be 1200x1200 min, then use the photo paper yl be amazed the difference that makes m8

I'm not a massive advocate in higher resolution= Higher quality. Even though mine has resolutions that are the highest on the market, it's extremely rare it goes above 740x740 and my covers are MINT. Coated paper about 140 g/m2 will give you all the quality you need.
