My dad just got a computer built for my mom. He gave all the specs he wanted to the guy who built it but after getting it home it doesnt seem as good as the old one and we suspect he has used cheap parts and mobo.
The mobo is ...ABIT SA7 133 3 DIMMS ATX SYS 645 DX CHIPSET. Can anybody tell me if this is any good or not please. Any advice appreciated cheers.

SiS645DX was one of the best solutions in its category I think they are just a cheap alternative to Intel and is pretty outdated, its an inexpensive board with a budget chipset.
Unfortunately specs dont mean diddly, ie 56K modem you can pay from £5 for shite to £40 for a quality one,56K means nothing, the cheap parts will depend upon what you paid, what the old system specs are, and what the new system is used for, all you have to do is price up the parts to find out how much you paid went into the case & contents.
