It is recommended to write to the HD first for best results as there is a far greater chance for error when burning on the fly. For a good DVD-ROM drive I would recommend the Lite-On for cost or if not the Pioneer DVD-ROM drive listed above will work. Far better to use the LiteOn and DVD Decrypter and just make an ISO image, takes mere minutes with a Ltd-166S, and burn it back in ISO read mode. Easiest and cheapest way to backup a DVD 5! :tup: |
