When copy and pasting a formula down a group of cells, the actual formulas are reading correctly but the sum is the number from the first copied formula.

What is causing this? Should I reinstall the software?

We are on a network, and it seems to be happening to a few workstations. Do we maybe have a virus that Norton did not detect?

PLease advise if you have any tips. Thanks!

Can you paste the formula here? It's probably because formulas can contain absolute and relative references to other cells and you'll want the oposite to what its doing. Or mail me the spreadsheet and i'll take a look for you.

I'd guess the formula has $ signs next to the cell references like $A$5 instead of A5.

try copying the cells, and chose paste special from the toolbar, that may have the option you need (such as paste formula or something).
