I have looked in back posts and it seems no one has actually got results in doing this.
I have renamed the Ram VRO to VOB and done all the necessary conversions with Vobedit and Ifo edit so to make it a proper dvd standard disc. This works fine on my PC but the DVDr will not work on my DVDplayer.
Can anyone shed any light on this type of conversion. There seems to be nothing on it out there.

cheers

Oh well after a whole day of trial and error I finally managed to do a DVDram to DVDr conversion without any help which was very pleasing.

Tools required:
Vobrator
Spruce Up
Record Now Max

First of all and the obvious must have a DVDram reader in your pc. Copy the VRO file from your ram disc to your desktop and rename the file extension to VOB.
Start Vobrator and demux the VOB so that you will have a M2V & AC3 file. These two files must have exactly the same name. The rest is done with Spruce, create an image and burn with Record now max.

And there you have it 100% conversion with no loss in quality.

@bub1,
did your trial include an edited dvdram (adverts cut out etc. done on the ram recorder) and if so did you get any sync. problems after the first cut using your method???
also i heard u-lead dvd media studio will accept .VRO files as is, anyone tried that yet, and had any good results????

Someone said the panasonic dvd recorders, e30, e50 etc, can do dvdram to dvd-r but I haven't figured out how. I can use my other panasonic to play the dvdram into the dvd recorder though.

I had no sync problems with my method but I havent tried editing the ram disc on my e20 first. I cant see there being any problems though. The good thing though after the converion you will have chapters at any point and any kind of menu you like, something which a ram disc wont have.
You can also duplicate ram discs to dvdr the easy way by having 2 decks one being a ram player conected to an e20 etc it wont be as good quality as my method as you are duplicating through leads.
If you have a E20 and a dvdr burner try my method its easy and very quick.
