i`m sure this must have been mentioned before --no one should use nero to burn the video ts file to dvdr as its not 100% compliant with all stand alones--i know this for sure as i`ve been experimenting with loads of dvd players --a certain amount of players come up with an error message like check disc etc--yet when the same disc is copied to hard drive and re burnt back with prassi it plays in all the players it did`nt before hand--this is important if u want 100% compliant dvd--be warned--bob

Can we just upload the upgrade to Nero without screwing with our old registration code. If so, where can we download the new version of Nero?

Yeah, as long as you have some version of 5 already, you can simply update it.

It's a fairly large download, takes about 31 mins.

I dont get the point. dvd players don't play all disks, some play dvd-r some don't, some play dvd+r some dont. you didn't mention what player you have. No need to blame it on nero.
