Hi All,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask, but here goes.

I have modded a PSX (9002) for my sons friend, now it doesn't work. Whoops!

I have taken the chip out again, but still no go. It will boot, but drops into memory card/cd player screen everytime.
There is no disc spin, no laser focusing, and no movement of the eye (along the slides).
I've checked all the little fuses and they appear to be ok. I've had a good look round all the mod chip solder points and all seem ok, ie no bridges, or bits missing etc.
I've had a look around the web for answers but am still stuck.

Anyone have any ideas about how to fix it, or maybe a member of this forum could supply me with spares.
