Hey i have 256 SD-Ram in my computer right now and im looking to up that a little more should i just go to best buy and buy another stick of 256 SD-Ram?

if your using win98 and under - then stick with what you got.

If your using win2k/xp then another 256 would be the best option.

It may be best to get some more RAM but it really depends on what apps you are using, games being played etc.

One thing that is of equal importance is what RAM you buy. RAM speeds are increasing so much now that you have to make sure you're mobo will cope. Have a look at the spec of the mobo and find out what sort of RAM it will cope with before jumping into a shop to buy some more. Also there are of course the cheap types of RAM or the better types like Corasir etc. If you have a brand named RAM installed already it would probably be best to stick with the same RAM if you buy another stick.
