M8 got a chipped Xbox, and when he tries to get on to the MS dashboard through evox, it just loops back to the Evox dash. How can he get it back without using FTP, would Slayers do the trick?

Edit evox.ini file in your c: drive & see if the line where ms dash is specified looks like this:

MSDashBoard = "c:\msxboxdash.xbe"


If it dont then fix it. If the line is the same as above ,then your ms dash has been replaced with evox dash so you need to replace it with real msdash file.

If after fixing the line in evox you get a error then, then your ms dash is missing files & has been deleted. So you need to copy files from someone elses c: drive who has same xbox version as you.
