For a while now my PC has been freezing up, sometimes happens several times in a night and it's annoying cause it has happened during video encoding, game playing etc.

When I use the event viewer and click on System, I get a red cross with DCOM under the source, when I double click on DCOM I get this message:

DCOM got error "The service database is locked", attempting to start the service ccPwdSvc with arguments in orde to run the server.

I'm baffled but it's really p*ssing me off!

Cheers for reading.
