I recently d/l bf 1942 from a newsgroup and I unrared the files, there was an image .mdf I tried burning it with dj but was unsuccessful. Can anyone help me please

There should also be an MDS file.

Also, the game is 2 CD's so there should be 2 x MDS and 2x MDF.

Anyway, such images can be burnt with Alcohol 120%. Just use the SafeDisc2 profile, although you may want to disable the bypass EFM errors option if your burner fully supports weak sectors.
