I want to get a new pair of speakers, one for the PC and one for the TV. My question is, how far away do the non-magnetically shielded speakers have to be from the screen? They would be around 10-15cm away, is that too close? I just don't want to bugger up the TV or my new monitor! Cheers :cool:

The answer to that question would depend on the size of the speakers you plan to use. The bigger the speaker, the bigger the magnet and thus the larger the magnetic field. The larger the magnetic field, the farther away you need to place the speakers.

Why not just get shielded speakers? The price difference is negligible.

Make it at least 30 cm mate. More the merrier!!
