If I copy these over to my PC HDD from my X Box HDD can I burn them onto DVDR? Is putting a game on your X Box HDD just like putting it on your PC HDD?

Yup, just copy it over and burn away. (Burning correctly of course, you can't just create a data cd in say Easy CD Creator and expect it to work, but I believe you know how to burn disks anyways)
