Using EvoX and ftpExplorer from the PC, I think I have found where all the audio files are stored that are ripped from disk.
If I'm right then they are in E:\TDATA\fffe0000\music\000*\*.wma arent they?

I can stream a folder full of .wma files down to a directory with the next number (0007), but dont know how to tell the xbox that there is a new folder so it is recognised in the dashboard and by games (and give it a name etc...)

is there an easier app to allow me to do this? or has anyone successfully done it already?

If anyone can help me out with getting past this, then I'll write a nice little PC app to allow you to select a list of mp3's, convert them, and then automatically update them to the xbox, and share it out on here ;)

Do a search at yahoo for "Xbox Soundtrack Editor". Download and enjoy easy wma transfers to your xbox!
