I just purchased a PS2 and I was wanting to know if this type of mod chip is real, or if anyone has heard anything about it? It's the slide chip method of backups. I would really like input on this. The website is http://www.mod-chip.com/. Thanks for your time.

The link works for me. The slide card is essentially nothing more than an improved version of the knife method. The one drawback is that it looks like it uses the swap magic discs which seem to have issues with some games.

Read the swap magic post sticky it boots about 90% of your dvd-rs you have to patch dvd rips and games with kalisto boot menus

With the CD Loader, you can get 100% of the games to work.
Now were waiting for the Version 7 CDLoader

it wont work for you since you have a V7, do it right and get a NO-SWAP Modchip, such as a dMS3
