View Full Version : Ritek DVD-R ?

before i go out buying dvd-r's for my ps2 ,which is ritek media is good for my ps2 ?-im on a tight budget, but i also want the best for my ps2 is there really a need for the ritek 4x or can i just get the reguler ones ?
Any sugestions?

Both of them work just as well. The 4x just offers increased writing speed. I use the G03 unbranded Ritek (1x/2x) discs and the 2x4all firmware hack for my Cendyne/Pioneer 105 drive and do perfect burns at 2x on them. If you are able to write the G03s at 2x then it will only take about 15 minutes longer per burn than the 4x Riteks. As mentioned above both work just as well, it just depends on if you want to spend more to have the increased writing speed. I hope this helps.

Go for the 1x ,there cheaper and lower speeds are somewhat better.

If you are on a tight budget then 1 speed will do fine ,but i like the 4 speed ,l like only waiting 15min max for dvd game :).
