I had enter the matrix on a datawrite (grey) and it didn't work so i bought it on ritek and it still didn't work then i got it on another datawrite (red) and it STILL didn't work!!

all i get is a black screen? anybody got any ideas?

ps. i have a PAL V3 PS2 with a no-solder mod and i use AR2v2+GTA3 to boot :)

maybe need to tune laser or just clean laser.

how do i clean the laser? (if that is the problem)

i have the same problem,all i get is a black screen ,left it in the ps2 for about 30 minutes and nothing, disc seems to be spining

try verbatim or apple disc. Are you burning them correctly

i dont burn them i buy them off bst, ive had 3 copies off different people and none of them work :(

cleaning laser: buy a dvd cleaner from asda/walmart (in usa).


or open your ps2 then take the four tiny screw out on top of the drive and then your laser will be revealed and then take a coton bud and dab it gently on the laser and then use some isopropyl alcohol bp(70% alcohol) and put the cotton bud in solution and than dab it on the laser. then check if the game work.


if that doesent work try tuning your laser. to do this you turn the little white cog a back of the drive. if this doesent work it will be a bad burn or bad laser..:) :hdspin:
