you should get a lead from your soundcard line out and connect to the line in/aux port on your stereo.

i think this is how you do it but i have not tried personally

I have mine hooked up to my Sterio but the way I do it is straight from my main sound output to the sterio.

You need a phono lead, these are RED and Gray you can pick one up for about £3, you plug the gray end in your Line Out or Speaker output and then the 2 leads that come off the other end plug in to your phono ports on the back of your sterio. It sounds great with 6 speakers hooked up on the sterio whenyour watching movies and playing games.

Hope that helps ya

i think lee2003 is right ,a cable with small jack plug on one end and two phono`s on the other ,connect jack in to sound card and phono to back of stereo. and bobs your relation, should be able to pick up a cable at comp market at a reasonable price....

Some sound cards have a line in plug for connecting "in from stereo" but no line out. If this is your case you can still purchase a "Y" adaptor from radio shack or other electronics supplier and plug this into your speaker outlet on your computer, your speakers into one plug and the line to the "in" on your reciever from the other, it works just as well. Just make sure you get the "stereo" Y adaptor plug.
