i have connected a firwewire card into the spare pci slot. but the computer is not detecting it, nor is adobe premiere.

anyone know what the problem could be?
i notice my other cards have two pieces which slot into the gap, but the firewire card has three pieces which have to go in, im not sure if its going in propley. could this be the prob

i thinkits cos i dont have the right video card, svga one is needed
