I know I have an Athlon XP 1700+ cpu since I installed it myself, but I didn't look at the chip very well when I inistalled it so I don't know if it's a version a or version b...

Is there anyway I can find out which verison it is short of taking off the heatsink and looking at the chip itself? Putting on that heatsink was a b*tch and I don't wanna have to take it off unless I'm upgrading to a new cpu.... Is there some software, I can't remember if Sandra tells you that much info...

Reason why I want to know is because I heard the b versions are much better for overclocking....Thank You.
